Ron Paul's name was clearly said during the requests for any other candidates for president - but it's claimed he 'hears none' - then cites some rules from a rulebook the GOP clearly doesn't follow, on state or national levels.

Am I shocked they didn't play by the rules? Nope.

This sham of a nomination is about as disheartening for our country as was Obama's affirmation - had either party allowed ALL delegates to vote, it would have been a very different set of 'official candidates' to select from 'on ballot' in November. Instead, this nation is being force-fed two candidates that don't differ at all on foreign policy (read up more on Obama's threats to Iran, as well as his long term plans for occupations globally), don't even discuss monetary policy (our nation's biggest crisis, really), and both have a clear record of breaking their oaths to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Voting for either candidate leads us down the same path Bush 2, Bill Clinton and Bush 1 got us upon with the occupations and bombings in the Middle East (many forget that during Clinton's administration, we were over there bombing and shooting.)

On a bright note, Ron Paul is going to make a major announcement next week. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog/?p=456
