Went to Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire yesterday... KC, who turned 10 on July 3rd, wanted to spend an entire day there, so we did! It was great. The Boston Tea Party ride was the best part. We spent upwards of 2 hours on that ride or near it. A large wave gets created each time one of the two boats slides down a steep incline. Incredible.

Came home around midnight to a shocker on our answering machine... Freddy got finished with a job sooner than he expected and wanted to start our kitchen island TODAY. So, we quickly moved stuff out of the way (most of it already had been in prep for the expected start date of Monday) and went to Home Depot to select an island. We don't have the top picked out yet, but the cabinets are excellent. Maple wood.

A bunch of other errands to run today... it has been one of the busiest days of this year. Still got a few other things to finish up... but once this is done, it will look great and make this area function a lot better than it does.
